Today, I am here with a simple snack which can be put together in about 10 -15 minutes. This can be easily assembled when suprise guests arrive or can be served as a wholesome, nourishing after school snack with a warm cup of milk.
Here is my recipe for Corn Chilli Cheese Toast 🙂
Preparation Time : 10 minutes
Cooking Time : 5 minutes
Yields : 4 Toasts
Ingredients :
4 slices Brown Bread
1 Medium Capsicum finely chopped
1/2 cup Sweet Corn (boiled with a little salt)
2 Cubes Amul Cheese (grated)
1 tsp Red Chilli flakes
3 tsps Amul Butter + A little butter to toast the bread slices
1 tsp Tomato Ketchup
Chilli Sauce to Taste
Method :
Mix the soft butter with capsicum, grated cheese, salt, red chilli flakes, tomato ketchup and chilli sauce.
Spread some of this mix on a slice of brown bread and sprinkle boiled corn on the spread.
Fold the bread and press it lightly. Toast the bread with a little dab of butter on a tava till it is crisp and brown.
Cut the bread into two triangles and serve with tomato ketchup.
